There's been talk of starting a club like this around SCAD for a few quarters, but as far as I know nothing ever went official. And even though it's my last quarter, I hope that this club will be a lasting contribution and will continue to serve as a great networking and portfolio building center for students who want to do pre-viz work.
We meet every Friday at 5:30pm in the Sequential Art department. We do speedpaint challenges and Gnomon DVD screenings every time.
